About Vinayaka Mission's Law School - A Constituent College of Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation, Chennai
Vinayaka Mission’s Law School Chennai is a constituent college of Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation. The erstwhile Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Law is located in Chengalpattu District Tamil Nadu, India. It is recognized by UGC and approved by BCI. Moreover, it is regulated by the Strategic Advisory Committee consisting of legal experts and experienced practitioners.
Vinayaka Mission’s Law School courses include three five-year and one three-year programmes with a vision of providing bilingual legal education to its students. The faculty members are from various leading educational institutions around the world. For example, Stanford University, USA., Oxford University, UK, Law school in Spain, National Universities, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Vinayaka Mission’s Law School admissions are done based on VLAT scores.
VMLS has also signed MoUs with India's leading institution and the institution of eminence OP Jindal Global University and Jindal Global Law School. As a part of this agreement, Vinayaka Mission will be able to adopt the best practices in the industry for education, cutting-edge research, student welfare, and training of students in various areas of law which are contemporary and required for any lawyer to succeed in the 21st century.

Vinayaka Mission's Law School courses are full-time regular programmes. VMLS offers three five-year programmes and one three-year programme. Vinayaka Mission's Law School eligibility criteria for the five-year programmes and the three-year programme is passed in 10+2/intermediate or equivalent examination. Tabulated below are the details of the VMLS Chennai courses. As per the VMLS Chennai fees structure, in the first year, there will be an additional fee of Rs 5,000 which covers fees like admission fees, registration fees, eligibility fees, library fees, sports fees, ID card fees, affidavit, college calendars, association and stores etc.

VMLS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Vinayaka Mission's Law School Admission Process 2024:
- Candidates to begin with the VMLS admission process must register themselves.
- After visiting VMLS official website, candidates need to click on register and begin the registration process. Candidates must verify their email as well.
- Next, candidates have to complete the VMLS application process. To do that, candidates need to correctly fill out the online application form. After filling up the VMLS application, candidates need to attach the required documents and submit. Next, candidates need to pay the Vinayaka Mission's Law School application fee of Rs 250.
- The submitted application will be processed internally and candidates will be receive the admission offer letter or hall ticket.
- Candidates then need to appear and qualify the VLAT 2024. Alternatively, the valid score of LSAT-India /CLAT / AILET, MHCET, CUET and NLSAT scores will also be accepted.
- Finally, shortlisted candidates will be handed over the provisional admission letter. This will mark the end of the Vinayaka Mission's Law School online admission process.

In order to receive scholarships, students need to take the VLAT and then participate in an interview. Scholarships will be granted based on how well students perform in both the VLAT and the interview. VMLS scholarships are offered on a merit cum need basis. Candidates who are looking forward to avail the scholarships must keep the following in mind:
- VMLS scholarships will be on a first come first serve basis.
- There will be a continuation of the scholarship if candidates maintain a minimum of 75% attendance, there is no disciplinary action/enquiry/suspension initiated against the student and they have managed to attain a minimum CGPA as notified.
